It's been a while! I've been doing my best to put a dent into my summer list of things to do but it's week three and I've lost a little motivation. It's been hard starting up and getting things (like the garage clean mostly) done but I'm still trying. I started out strong in getting stuff done but then I guess the semester of no sleep and activities caught up to me and it was hard to make myself do things. I'm trying to get back the motivation.
I've been working a lot (trying to!) but am still currently broke. I just spent the last hour looking up cheap/free things to do with kids this summer since I will be watching Brooke for most of it. I decided I will give her a choice of going to a park, blowing bubbles, making friendship bracelets or coloring in a coloring book today - all of these which will be suggested as outside things since it's our first sunny day in over a week! I'm making a list of activities to keep us busy. Yesterday we had a rough day (partially my fault, partially hers) so I'm hoping today will go smoother.
I'm trying really hard to take everything one day at a time, parts of a day as they come. I know having my big list of things I want to do in the summer may be overwhelming but I'm hoping that by not having specific deadlines (other then the end of summer) they will just be pleasurable things. I'm trying to also make sure the things that need to get done are getting done.
Just trying to breathe mostly.

Summer's Here!
It has been FOREVER! I basically took the semester off from this blog but I've decided that I will make my best efforts to continue it this summer.
I have a very long list of things I want to do over the summer, mostly things that I've wanted to do throughout the previous semester but never had time to. It's probably better that I do it in the summer anyways, everything is sunny and bright and happier!
I will do my best to document my summer here. I hope it is as full and productive as I anticipate.
This is the first week I haven't had school and I've been semi-productive. I've been working on cleaning out my garage. Every year after school ends, I basically pack everything into boxes and garbage bags and put it in the garage. When school starts for the next semester, I don't even bring half of what I ended up with in the garage. So it's all been sitting there for four years and it's time to go through it. Partially because I hate having this much stuff (that's a lie, I love all my stuff but it's probably not healthy/practical to have as much as I do), partially because I have to move the entire contents of my apartment into my garage and there is not room for that and partially because I really don't want to be a hoarder. There is still a lot of work to be done before I go and move everything else back.
It kind of sucks because I haven't worked at all this week which means that I have less then no money at the moment. I have a ton of stuff to do though in terms of organizing/moving. But I've also been feeling sort of lazy - especially the past two days- because I worked all semester long (and trust me, I worked my ass off) and part of me just wants to sit around, which I kind of did yesterday. But now I have to stop doing that and start doing work again because the summer cannot officially start until I am moved out of the apartment.
So here's the plan: organize today. move stuff tomorrow/sat. Work Sat night. Organize EVERYTHING.
Most importantly, this summer, I am going to take lots and lots of photos and make awesome amazing and interesting things!
Ready? gogogo!
